SHOVEL PASS BACKCOUNTRY LODGE,located midway on the Skyline Trail,we are now closed for the winter, thank you all for an other great summer at the lodge, we are now accepting reservation for 2012. ( Mid-July to September 5th )
Welcome to Skyline Trail Rides!
We are located at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge's stables, just 10 minutes from the Jasper town site.
We offer guided hourly trail rides from one hour to half-day ride. Pony rides for children under 7 years old and private riding lesson are also available.
Hikers of the Skyline Trail, we welcome you at Shovel Pass Lodge for overnight accommodations and offer you an all-inclusive horse assisted package including freighting of your packs or you can stop at the lodge for a meal only (call us for more information). This famous mountain region has been serviced exclusively by our company since 1911.
